More and more Danish talents are making their way to the European scene. Great Dane Football Blog list five of the greatest Danish talents outside Denmark.

5. Patrick Olsen

Young midfielder Patrick Olsen rejected a new contract with Brøndby to follow his dream of playing in a foreign club. The transfer came last week, as Olsen signed a contract worth 3 years with Inter Milano.

Patrick Olsen was nominated as one of the players to keep an eye on, after the U17 European Championship, last year. With Olsen playing for one of the worlds best youth teams, the future looks bright.

4. Andreas Christensen

Andreas Christensen is an unknown name for many. Even in his home country, Denmark. However, the European top clubs knew his name, when they were chasing the young defender last year.

Chelsea won the battle infront of Manchester City and signed the defender. Today, he is considered as one of the greatest talents in Chelsea's youth squad.

3. Lasse Vigen Christensen

Lasse Vigen Christensen has earlier been on a trial in Arsenal. Here, they decided not to sign him. Instead, Fulham gave the 17-year old midfielder a contract last year.

Lasse Vigen has more than 30 youth national caps for Denmark and is by many considered as one of the greatest talents. With his transfer to Fulham, we might see the Dane in Premier League, before we know it.

2. Christian Nørgaard

Christian Nørgaard joined HSV in Germany from Lyngby this winter. Now, after just six months he has been promoted to the Bundesliga squad, where he is still missing his debut.

However, the talent is a regular part of the HSV reserves where he, so far, has scored one goal. Perhaps a new great Dane in German football?

1. Viktor Fischer

Viktor Fischer is currently the hottest name in Danish youth football. The Ajax striker played a tremendous role in Ajax's NextGen succes last season and is pushing for a role on the national team despite his young age.

Earlier this month, he has his debut for the best team in Ajax, and right now, the future look bright for the talent. Other clubs, as Manchester United has already been names as a new club for Fischer.

The second leg of the Champions League qualification match, between Lille and FC Copenhagen, is the Match of the Week!

 Stadium Lille Métropole de Villeneuve
29-08-2012 @ 19.45 BST

What is the status of the two teams before the match?
Both teams should have all players available for the match. In Copenhagen, there has been some doubts about the goal keeper Johan Wiland. However, the Swede seems to be fit for the second leg.

How is the two teams form?

Lille is currently positioned as number 8 in the french Le Championnat, with five points after three matches. The team has not had the start they had hoped for, with only one victory and two draws against smaller teams.

FC Copenhagen is so far unbeaten in the Danish Superliga, and with their 1-0 win in the first match against Lille, they have had a terrific start on the season. The loss of attacker Dame N'Doye has been forgotten, by Cesar Santin, who scored against Lille.

What to expect from this match?

After the 1-0 defeat to Copenhagen, Lille Coach Rudi Garcia said that they still had the chance to win go through to the next round. This means that LOSC will attack from the start. However, they still have to take care in defends, as a FCK goal will bring they even further away from the ChL.

Copenhagen can settle with a 0-0 or 1-1 draw. We will probably see a defensive Copenhagen team who is afraid of taking any chances. An early goal from Lille will certainly bring some excitement in to the match.

Who will win?

Not many had left Copenhagen with a chance against Lille. However, the Danes surprised and won 1-0. Danish teams often has trouble playing in France, and given that LOSC will have to come forward to win this match it will be a hard one for Copenhagen. I believe that Lille will win a 2-0 victory.

What are the odds?

There is no doubt in the bookmakers doubt. LOSC Lille is going to win this one. However, if you have the guts, Copenhagen will give back big time.
