André Villas-Boas is facing his first meeting with the club that sacked him last season. The Match of the Week is between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea FC.

Premier League Round 8
White Hart Lane
20-10-2012 @ 12.45 BST

How is the two teams form?

The home side is unbeaten in six matches, winning the last six. AVB's team is in good shape with Jermaine Defoe as the club's top scorer with four goals. The clubs current goal scorer is 13-8.

Chelsea is still unbeaten in the Premier League, and Di Matteo's mix of young talents and routined old boys seems to work out fine. Like Jermaine Defoe, Chelsea's top scorer Fernando Torres has scored four goals this season.

What will the starting XI look like?

Given Tottenham latest matches,  they will probably be playing a 4-2-3-1 formation. Spurs will be in their strongest line up as possible. However, I am in doubt whether or not Defoe will be starting.

Chelsea will go in to this match with respect for Spurs. They will not spare any player available, and that is why I believe we will see Hazard, Mata and Oscar in the attacking midfield.

My bet on the starting XI's will be:

Lloris

Walker - Gallas - Caulker - Vertonghen

Dembele - Sandro

Bale - Dempsey - Lennon

Defoe
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Torres

Mata - Oscar - Hazard

Mikel - Lampard

Ivanovic - Luiz - Terry - Cole

Cech

What to expect from the match?

Both teams will have great respect for the opposite offensive. As I see it, Chelsea is the strongest team in this match, as their three attacking midfielders are more decisive in front of the goal. However, Bale has the skills to make every defends shake, and if Defoe can keep up his scoring, Spurs are not to be underestimated.

What are the odds?

The bookmakers have Tottenham as favorites for this match, while Chelsea gives back around 12/5.
