Tonight's friendly matches might add some extra injuries to the clubs, but here is the current status from the English Premier League clubs.









WIGAN ATHLETIC

Injuries: 7

Both Emmerson Boyce and Fraser Fyvie are doubtful for Wigan's match against Chelsea in the weekend. The first due to a hamstring injury, and the latter because of his muscle injury. Furthermore, Ryo Miyachi will be sidelined until the 23th of Februar due to an ankle injury, and the same matters for Ben Watson struggling with a shin injury. Iván Ramis is out with a knee injury until October while there is no return date of Albert Crusat and Michael Politt. On the other hand, Alcaraz Antolin is close to a comeback, working on his match fitness.

Injuries: 7

Fulham is looking to have the Norwegian Viking Brede Hangeland back in action against Norwich on Saturday. At the same time, Dimitar Berbatov, Kieran Richardson and Steve Sidwell are all set to comeback from their injuries, but unlikely to play. Meanwhile, three players are sidelined for an unknown time; Mahamadou Diarra with a knee injury, Neil Etheridge with a leg injury and Kerim Frie with a groin injury.

Fabian Delp is doubtful for the weekend, recovering from his ankle injury while Marc Albrighton seems to be over his foot injury and might return to training next week. Richard Dunne is in lack of match fitness, and Chris Herd is out with a foot injury, but both are set to return next week. However, Gary Gardner will be sidelined until May while there is still no news about Stilian Petrov.

Newcastle is struggling with five injuries at the moment but may have Hatem Ben Arfa back from his hamstring injury by the end of this month. Ryan Taylor is also looking to be back soon, however, his knee injury will hold him sidelined until at least late March. Haris Vuckic is out for the rest of the season with his knee injury while there is no return date of Dan Gosling and Danny Simpson.

Nedum Onuoha and Loïc Remy are doubtful to play for QPR this weekend, due to a back and a groin injury. David Hoilett is in lack of match fitness but can return this week while Hogan Ephraim is sidelined for an unknown time due to his hamstring injury. Meanwhile, Johnson is set to return mid march. Diakite is unavailable as he is still playing in the ACN for Mali.

A few players are doubtful for Southampton's match against Manchester City. Nathaniel Clyne and Luke Shaw are close to be back in fitness after having suffered from a knock while Gastón Ramírez is returning from his leg injury. Guilherme Do Prado is also close to a return but will watch the match from the stands this weekend together with Fonte.

Lukasz Fabianski returned to the training ground last week, and is fighting to get back in match fitness. However, he will be sidelined this week together with Thomas Vermaelen and Francis Coquelin. Kieran Gibbs is the newest name on the injury list, and he will be out for about 6-8 weeks.

Romeu and Luiz are both reported being out with injuries and unavailable for the weekend. Meanwhile, Chelsea have two doubtful players - Petr Cech and Demba Ba - while John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses are playing for Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations.

Midfielder Darren Fletcher has been going through an operation for his Ulcerative Colitis condition and is out for a couple of weeks. Michael Carrick, Phil Jones and Ashley Young is sidelined until next week.

The Canaries are looking forward to having Anthony Pilkington, Bennett and Alexander Tettey ready for the weekend's match against Fulham. Meanwhile, John Ruddy is out with a thigh injury for an unknown period of time.
