Tottenham have not lost to Sunderland in the Premier League for two years, and they are the bookmakers favorites. However, the matches have always been close between the two teams with often only three goals scored (except for Sunderlands last win (3-1)). Sunderland showed good form against Manchester City last week, with a Nicklas Bendtner in top form, and I think they could surprise once again, against Tottenham. However, Tottenham has won their last two matches and are fighting to beat Arsenal in the race for the third place. This is going to be a tough one, but I will place my bet on Sunderland in this match.

Espanyol is currently positioned number 9 in La Liga and can, with a win against Real Sociedad, bring themselves in spot for the Europa League Qualifications. This is not going to be a walk over for the team, as Espanyol and Real Sociedad often plays very tight matches. Espanyol is favorites in this match and is most likely to win against a Real Sociedad team that have lost three of their last five games. Espanyol wins.

The bookmakers have Arsenal as favorites in this match. Arsenal is hoping to come back on track after the 2-1 defeat to Queens Park Rangers last week. The same can be said for Manchester City, after their two draws in a row. The Manchester club will be desperate after a win in order to keep their trail of United. As mentioned before on this blog, this is also a meeting between this season’s best striker, Van Persie, and second best goalkeeper, Joe Hart. The question is if Arsenals often poor defense can stand ground against Aguero and Dzeko, and if Manchester City’s defense can keep Van Persie from scoring. This match looks like a draw!

This is only the second round of the Swedish Allsvenskan, and Elfsborg have had a good start with a 2-1 win against Djurgården, while Helsingborg lost against Norrköping. Even though, Helsingborg is favorites for this clash against Elfsborg with six victories in the last ten matches between the two teams. These two teams almost never plays for a draw, and it is worth betting on more than three goals scored in the match. Even though, Helsingborg is favorites, I would place my bet on an Elfsborg win, given the striker Amadou Jawo plays a great match.
