Marouane Chamakh was already an unpopular player among the Arsenal fans, but defending Nasri has just made it much worse. The Morrocan frenemy might have spoiled his chances of acceptance from the fans.

The footage showing Nasri being abused by Arsenal fans and Chamakh protecting his friend have gone viral since Sunday. Most football fans know that since Nasri transferred to Manchester City, he has been seen as a judas by the Gunners fans, nicknaming him Na$ri.

Some might say that Chamakh only supported his friend, and no doubt he did the right thing. However, the Morrocan was already an unpopular player in Arsenal, never reaching the potential Wenger hoped for, and was sent on a loan to West Ham for the rest of the season. In the world of football, the Morrocan did not support a friend; he supported one of the club's worst enemies.

Question is now if the Gunners fans will let the 'frenemy' return to Emirates after this season. By the end of the day, they are not the ones to decide, but he will go through hell stepping into the pitch after this.

Neither Arsenal or Manchster City have released any statement about the clip.
