Aston Villa is still struggling in the bottom of the Premier League, and the injury situation is not helping manager Paul Lambert. Marc Albrighton and Shay Given are both doubtful for the weekends match against West Bromwich Albion. The first with a foot injury and the latter with a hamstring injury. Chris Herd is also out with a foot injury while Bennett is out with an illness. However, there is a slight chance both of them will be ready for the weekend. Both Darren Bent and Gary Gardner are out with knee injuries, but Bent is close to a comeback while Gardner will be out until at least the end of the season. There is currently no return dates of Dunne and Petrov.

Those three are Esteban Granero, David Holliet and Hogan Ephraim. Traore is out with a knee injury for an unknown time while Johnson is out with the same injury until March 2013. The striker Bobby Zamora is out until the end of this month while Bosingwa is out for an unknown time due to a back injury. QPR will also have to do without Diakite, taking part in the African Cup of Nations for Mali.
