The FA Cup is always capable of delivering a surprise or two. Can Leeds be the surprise against Tottenham Hotspurs?

How is the two teams form?

Leeds United has won three of their five last matches; one of the against Birmingham in the FA Cup. The Peacocks are currently positioned 11 in the Championship with 41 points. Meanwhile, Spurs are currently four in the Premier League with the same amount of points. Tottenham is unbeaten in their last five matches after their 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Sunday.

The last ten matches between the two teams have resulted in five Spurs victories, two draws and three wins to Leeds.

What is the predicted XI?

Leeds can have Luciano Becchio back from his virus while Tottenham still are without a couple of players.

What to expect from this match?

As mentioned before, the FA Cup is always the tournament of surprises and Leeds might surprise against Tottenham. However, Spurs has developed the last couple of years and is more or less a top five team in the Premier League.

That said, Leeds has some interesting players in the squad and both Becchio and the veteran Diouf can cause problems for Tottenham. Spurs will not take chances as the Premier League must be more valuable for them, however, I still expect them to use their best players.

Spurs are favorites for this match, and they will be dominating from the start. However, Leeds have had luck earlier in the cup, and I can see them win this by a single goal - Probably in overtime and probably by Diouf (If he is not sent off)

What are the odds?

Tottenham are favorites with the best odds of 4/5 at bet365. However, most of the bets has been on a Leeds victory, where the best odds is 4 from StanJames. StanJames also have the best odds on a draw with 14/5.

A 1-0 victory to Leeds gives a staggering 16 back at BetVictor.
