ARSENAL

Injuries: 3


The German attacking force Lukas Podolski has been out with an ankle injury since the Bayern Munich match last week and will be sidelined for the rest of March. The same matters for Jack Wilshere while Bacary Sagna is sidelined with a knee injury.

Marc Albrighton, Darren Bent and Chris Herd are all sidelined with foot injuries. While Albrighton and Bent will be out for the rest of this month, Herd is out for the rest of the season. Nathan Baker sustained a head wound against QPR on the 16/2, and there is currently no news about him. Karim El Ahmadi is out with an ankle injury, and is set to return by the end of this month while Gary Gardner is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury. There is no return date of Stilian Petrov who is critically ill.

Gary Cahill sustained a knock against West Ham in the weekend, and has been pulled out of the England squad to face San Marino. However, he should be available for Chelsea's match against Southampton. David Luiz also sustained a knock against West Ham; there is no return date of the defender. Oriol Romeu has undergone a sugery following his knee injury and will probably not be in action more this season.

Tony Hibbert has been sidelined with a calf injury since December and is still out for a couple of weeks. Goalie Tim Howard has been struggling with a back injury but could return early April. Phil Jagielka is the last player on the injury list suffering from an ankle injury.

Marouane Fellaini is serving a 2 match ban after receiving his tenth booking of the season. Steven Pienaar will also be out against Stoke City after receiving a red card last week.

Fulham's Mahamadou Diarra is still out with a knee injury, but is set to return by the end of this month. The same matters for Kerim Frei who is in lack of match fitness while Neil Etheridge is out with a leg injury.

Liverpool is facing Aston Villa in their next match, and can be lucky to have both veteran Jamie Carragher and goalkeeper José Reina back. The two players are both rated doubtful. Meanwhile, both John Flanagan and Martin Kelly are sidelined with knee injuries while Fabio Borini is out with a shoulder dislocation. Furthermore, Joe Allen will probably not be playing more this season due to an injury.

Goalkeeper Tim Krul is expected to be out for the rest of the month due to an ankle injury while Massadio Haidara, Ryan Taylor and Haris Vuckic are out with knee injuries. On the bright side, both Mathieu Debuchy and Yohan Cabaye are close to returning from their injuries.
