A couple of season-long injuries has hit the Premier League squads. Great Dane gives you an update on the injury situation in the clubs!










Newcastle United

Injuries: 9

Newcastle is facing a hard time with several players, injured. Goalkeeper Tim Krul is unlikely to be ready for the weekends match. However, both Coloccini and James Perch has a minor chance of playing, while Tiote and Sam and Shola Ameobi will be tested priot to this match. Unfortunately, Ryan Taylor is ruled out until March 2013, due to a knee injury. There is no known comeback date for both Vučkić and Simpson.

Arsenal

Injuries: 8

There is a chance for Arsenal to have back Wojciech Szczesny back from his rib injury, for the match against Southampton. Another player that might be ready is Diaby. The French midfielder suffers from a hip injury, but Wenger believes to have his player back for Saturday. Walcott should be over his illness by now and will probably figure in the squad in this week. However, Arsenal will be missing Chamakh, Rosicky, Sagna, Frimpong and Wilshere for the rest of the month, at least.

Aston Villa

Injuries: 7

Aston Villa will have to play without Garry Gardner this season, as his ACL knee injury will keep him out until May next year. It looks better for Bennett who might return this weekend, a long with Garuthers. Richard Dunne is set to return from his Gilmores Groin injury by the end of the month, while Marc Albrighton will be back next week. There is currently no return date for either El Ahmadi or Petrov.

Manchester United

Injuries: 7

The two new boys in red, Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa are unavailable in the next match with a hip injury and a back injury. Ashley Young might return after his knee injury, while Rooney and Jones are set to be back next week. Chris Smalling will be unavailable for the rest of this month, while there is no return date of Fletcher.

Manchester City  

Injuries: 6

Manchester City is without not less than six players for theur match against QPR. There is a slight chance Jack Rodwell and Sergio Aguero will be back, but it is doubtful. Ballotelli will be back from his eye surgery next week, along with Gareth Barry. There is no known return date for Micah Richards and Zabaleta.

Liverpool FC 

Injuries: 6

Joe Allen has been reported out due to illness but might return a long with Joe Cole. It looks worse for Lucas, as he has been confirmed out until November this year. There is no return date for Assaidi, Enrique and Kelly.

Norwich City 

Injuries: 6

Bennett, Ward and Whittaker, is all set to return Saturday a long with Jacob Butterfield, who suffers from lack of fitness. Unfortunately, there is no return date of Martin and Lappin.

West Ham United 

Injuries: 5

West Ham is hoping to have Matt Jarvis and George McCartney back from their thigh muscle and back injury, this weekend. Andy Carroll is expected to be back from his hamstring injury late October, while there is still no known return date for Collison and Guy Demel.

Fulham FC 

Injuries: 4

Both Philippe Senderos, Bryan Ruiz, Steven Davis and Kerim Frei should be ready for the weekend's match against West Bromwich Albion.

Sunderland AFC

Injuries: 5

The Black Cats has five players on the injury list. However, Adam Johnson, Lee Cattermole, Wes Brown, Phillip Bardsley and David Vaughan are all reported to be close to a comeback.

Injuries: 4 

Reading will face Tottenham on Madejski Stadium, without goalkeeper Adam Federici and Jason Roberts according to several media. Hal Robson-Kanu and Jimmy Kébé are also unavailable.

Injuries: 4

Both Lukaku and Reid can return from their injuries this week, while Zoltan Gera and Jerome Thomas are out for a bit longer.

Chelsea FC 

Injuries: 3

Marko Marin finally seems to be back for Chelsea after his hamstring injury. The same concerns Ashley Cole and John Terry who both can be in the starting XI for the weekend.

Southampton FC

Injuries: 3

Daniel Fox is still suffering from his groin strain, while Jack Cork is battling with his foot injury. However, Steve De Ridder seems to have conquered his knock, and can be back this weekend.

Stoke City

Injuries: 3

There is a opportunity Matthew Etherington will be back against Manchester City. However, Jamie Ness and Mamady Sidibe are still out for a while.

Tottenham Hotspur

Injuries: 3

Younes Kaboul is out with a knee injury, until at least December. The two other injured Spurs players are Gomes and Scott Parker.

Everton 

Injuries: 2

Both Darren Gibson and Seven Pienaar are out for this weekend's match against Newcastle United. However, they are bit set to return next week.

Swansea City AFC

Injuries: 3

Gary Monk is finally injury-free but is in lacking  match fitness. The two defenders Kyle Bartley and Neil Taylor are out for a long time. Bartley is set to return in December while Taylor will be out for the rest of this season.

Chico is serving a three match ban after his red card against Sunderland.

Queens Park Rangers 

Injuries: 1 

Anton Ferdinand might be available for the match against Chelsea and John Terry this weekend. The striker has been out with a shoulder injury.

Jean Beausejour has been out with a knock but should be ready for Saturday.
