WIGAN ATHLETIC

There are doubts about Antolin Alcaraz who is in lack of match fitness and Fyvie Fraser returning from a muscle injury. Emmerson Boyce is struggling with a hamstring injury and will probably not be ready for the match against Reading. Meanwhile, Albert Crusat and Iván Ramis both are both sidelined with knee injuries. Michael Pollitt is confirmed to be out for at least 5 more months while there is no return date of Ryo Miyachi and Ben Watson.

Both Gabriel Agbonlahor and Karim El Ahmadi were unavailable due to illness in the weekend. However, both players should be ready for the match against Arsenal. Chris Herd and Marc Albrighton are struggling with foot injuries and are likely to be sidelined this week. Gary Gardner is set to return in May while there are no return dates of Richard Dunne and Stilian Petrov.

Hatem Ben Arfa has been out with a hamstring injury since mid December, but his situation is getting better. Alan Pardew is hopeful to have his midfielder back for the 24/2 home match against Southampton. The new midfielder Yoann Gouffran was subbed off against Tottenham with a shin injury, but is also expected to be back in action for the match against Southampton. Meanwhile, Haris Vuckic is still out for the rest of the season while Taylor might return later this month. Dan Gosling and Danny Simpson will still be sidelined for a couple of weeks.

The Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is fighting to get back in fitness, but should be available for the match against Arsenal on the 24th. The same matters for Laurent Koscielny, who has been on the lazaret with a calf injury. Jack Wilshere was subbed off against Sunderland with an unknown leg injury, but are expected to return within a week. Kieran Gibbs is sidelined until mid March with a thigh injury while Thomas Vermaelen is struggling with an ankle injury.

Carl Jenkinson is banned after receiving to yellow cards against Sunderland.

FULHAM FC

Injuries: 4


Fulham's new signing Eyong Enoh is still a couple of weeks from full fitness and from being in contention for starts. However, there is a chance he will be considered for the match against Stoke City. Mahamadou Diarra is out with a knee injury until late February while there are no return dates for Neil Etheridge and Kerim Frei.

LIVERPOOL FC

The new Liverpool player Philippe Coutinho is doubtful for unknown reasons, along with Daniel Sturridge struggling with his thigh. Both John Flanagan and Martin Kelly are sidelined with knee injuries.

Both Gilherme Do Prado and Fonte have been sidelined with knee injuries, but latest reports suggest that both players could return against Newcastle on the 24/2. Meanwhile, Luke Shaw and Gastón Ramirez are both doubtful for the same match.

Leon Britton can return to training this week following his ankle injury while Neil Taylor will be sidelined for at least one week more. Chico was injured in the weekends win against QPR and is in danger of missing the League Cup final, returning early March. Meanwhile, Darnel Situ is ruled out for the rest of the season with Achilles problems.

There are still no news about West Ham's James Collins and Daniel Potts while George McCartney is out for the rest of the season. Joey O'Brien was subbed of with a thigh injury against Aston Villa and is doubtful for next weekend.

The veteran Paul Scholes is still sidelined with a knee injury while Darren Fletcher will be out of the game for the rest of the season due to illness. Phil Jones was subbed off against Everton and is doubtful for the match against QPR.

Norwich City is without the two hamstring injured players Pilkington and Bennett at the moment. However, both players might be ready for the match against Everton next week. Meanwhile, John Ruddy is still sidelined with his thigh injury and is expected to return late March.
